New Stores
The New Jersey Wool Walk is an annual event hosted by local yarn shops in the state of New Jersey. During this yearly event, participating stores offer discounts, special events, and trunk shows. Hundreds of shoppers visit
each store and everyone enjoys this celebration of yarn and fiber in our state.

We welcome new shops to join the New Jersey Wool Walk, provided they meet the following requirements:
  • The shop must be open for business by October 1 of the year prior to the Wool Walk (planning for each event begins in October-November of the prior year).
  • The store must have a physical location that is regularly open to the public.
  • The shop must have 50% or more of their floor space devoted to yarn, fiber, and related tools.
  • The store should carry a varied selection of brands; shoppers love to find unique brands when they visit NJWW participating shops.
  • Shops that have participated in the prior year NJWW are grandfathered in.

If you’re a shopper and you’d like to suggest a new store for the NJWW, please ask the shop you’d like to see on the Walk to visit this page.
If you’re a store owner who would like to participate in the next NJWW, fill out the form here. Application must be submitted in its entirety by October 15 of a given year to be considered for the Wool Walk of the subsequent year.
